Back in the U.S.A: January/February 2004

Needing a healthy dose of family and friends, I headed back to the states during my first 5-week vacation of the school year. It was good to be home, and I've included some pictures here of us getting rowdy in OK.

I also had a chance to visit Miss Pris and her fiancee, Aaron, who both showed me an incredibly nice time in Philadelphia. I had never seen New England in the wintertime and I realized that Norman Rockwell wasn't kidding: it just really is that beautiful. They say that opposites attract, and this is certainly true of me and one of my best friends from college. I conned Pris into seeing a Howie Day concert with me one night, and she took me to the symphony the next. Good times.
